The latest national market report from the National Association of Realtors® showed that a number of markets around the country (148 of 185 tracked) experienced home price growth in the double-digits during the second quarter of this year.
That may come as a surprise to many who’ve been reading only headlines about the state of the housing industry. For example, mortgage applications were down for the fifth time in six weeks as of the week ending August 5, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association.
