A new restaurant option has opened in Maplewood to rave reviews! Klean Apron, co-owned by Dan Dandino and Liz Salituri, opened only about three months ago. It is an exciting new alternative to the traditional take-out business. While focusing on delivery and pick-up only, Klean Apron offers family style meals and late night snacks and sandwiches. Everything is made to order so as to provide only the freshest food for their customers.

The menu offers you and your family home-cooked American fare which is prepared on-site and is NEVER frozen! Free delivery is offered to customers within Maplewood and South Orange.

The dinner menu includes a la carte entrees, sandwiches, salads, and vegetarian meals as well as complete dinners for a family of four. In addition to the regular menu, Klean Apron will be offering lighter fare for the summer. The complete dinners, including baked ziti (pictured above), pulled pork and meatloaf, are a great value at $45 and are a unique, affordable alternative to traditional dinnertime take-out.

Klean Apron also offers a lunch/poolside menu that includes cold and hot sandwiches, salads, vegetarian choices, soups and sides. There is free delivery to Maplewood and South Orange, including the pool!

Dan and Liz are both Maplewood residents and they both have backgrounds in the restaurant business. So it was a logical step for them to open their own business. They knew they wanted to remain in the community they love, and they chose 1846 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood for Klean Apron. They both love to cook for other people, and Dan told me they take great satisfaction in providing the service to others. They also take great pride in providing a delicious meal that was made to order.
