local farmers markets

The local farmers markets are open again for business!

There are many local farmers markets that are open throughout the spring, summer and fall months. The farmers who attend these markets sell produce they’ve picked within 24 hours of sale to ensure the best taste and highest quality. As we know, eating fresh fruits, vegetables and other agricultural products can go a long way toward improving our overall health. And choosing locally grown products helps keep New Jersey farmers in business and is good for New Jersey’s agriculture industry.

Stop by some of these markets to enjoy the healthy, nutritious, freshly picked Jersey fruits and vegetables.
