Community Involvement
Family Promise of Essex County
With each closing we make a donation to Family Promise of Essex County, a not-for-profit organization that provides shelter, professional support services and housing assistance so families experiencing homelessness can find and sustain a home.
MEND Meeting Essential Needs with Dignity
We sponsor the MAPSO Storytelling Show which benefits MEND, a non-profit corporation that supports local food pantries that fight hunger in our towns. Allison also volunteers regularly at a South Orange food pantry.
Girls Night Out
We sponsor the Maplewood Village Alliance’s Girls Night Out in Maplewood Village each June to help promote our beloved business district.
Maplewood’s Halloween Parade
We are the lead sponsor of Maplewood’s amazingly fun and creative Halloween Parade, organized each year by the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce.
Columbia High School Scholarship Fund
We are a repeat sponsor of the Fund’s annual benefit that provides need-based scholarships to CHS grads for post-secondary education.
Lunches for Heroes
We helped to organize weeks of lunch delivery for our local EMS, Fire Fighters and Police during the COVID crisis.
South Orange Maplewood Baseball
We sponsor a local little league baseball team annually.
