SEPTEMBER
Index Art Center – On Saturday, September 28th, don’t miss IAC’s Open studio event. Enjoy some delicious Caribbean food and meet some of Index’s resident artists! Don’t miss the “O” exhibit on the first floor that features five new area artists, including our own Abigail Diecidue. Yogi Berra Stadium Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival – Flavor, fun and baseball await at Yogi Berra Stadium’s 3rd annual Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival! Featuring over 25 food trucks and over 100 craft beers, there will be a huge assortment of tasty treats and beverages for everybody. Plus there will be entertainment including a performance by Alternate Groove Party Band along with a wide assortment of back yard games, inflatables and more. Yogi Berra Stadium, Yogi Berra Drive,Little Falls, September 28, 12:00 – 7:00pm rain or shine.
Montclair Brewery Oktoberfest – Join Montclair Brewery to celebrate their 1st Annual Oktoberfest on September 28. They will release a special Oktoberfest lager as well as a Bourbon Barrel aged brown ale and a few other special craft brews. There will be music all day with bands such as The Little Engineers and Rasha-Jay; and Blissed Beats & friends on the turntables. Enter the costume contest with your best Oktoberfest attire! OCTOBER
6th Annual Uncorked & Uncapped – Be adventurous and taste exotic drinks and unique cuisine that you otherwise wouldn’t taste. In addition to sampling unique vendor fare, the event features live entertainment, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and more! All proceeds benefit The Arc of Essex County and the children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ales ‘n Tails Oktoberfest Fundraiser – This festive evening benefits the Essex County Parks Foundation. Enjoy the live Oompah band and sample dozens of seasonal brews, wines and spirits from around the world. There will also be local craft and food vendors on site. Turtle Back Zoo, West Orange Saturday, October 5 6:00 – 9:00pm
The Office! A Musical Parody– It’s a typical morning at Scranton’s third largest paper company until, for no logical reason, a documentary crew begins filming the lives of the employees of Dunder Mifflin. Don’t miss this hilarious parody of the hit TV show, The Office. Mayo Performing Arts Center, Morristown Wednesday, October 16 8:00pm
Diwali Fest NJ 2019 – Diwali Fest NJ 2019 is curated to offer a distinctive and authentic experience of South Asia that reflects the tremendous artistic and cultural diversity of the region. The festival is free and open to the entire community and offers a perfect day and place for family fun, food, dance, music and children’s activities. New Providence Street Fair – Springfield Avenue will be transformed into a giant town block party. Non-stop music and entertainment along with family-fun attractions will be featured throughout the day. Over 150 exhibitors, kiddie rides and a climbing wall, kids games, face painters, amusements, temporory tattoos and more. A special section with craft exhibitors ans artists will be showcased.
