Homes in this area are primarily made up of medium sized (3-4 bedrooms) and large (5+ bedrooms) Tudors and Colonials. Many of the homes are relatively historic and were built before 1939. In some cases, they were built quite a bit earlier. Many of these historic homes still contain the details and charm from when they were first constructed.

And the residents who live here enjoy the arts, theater, shopping and dining with their family and friends.
This area is centrally located. Many people who live in the area commute into NYC. They generally take the Maplewood Jitney which runs down Parker Avenue through the neighborhood for a quick trip into town. There they can catch the train to NYC. For your convenience, there is a Jitney stop just steps away from the front door of 67 Parker Avenue at the corner of Parker and Summit Avenues.
