72nd Annual Glen Ridge Antiques Show – This show offers something for both the serious collector and the casual browser through a wide selection of antique furniture, art, jewelry, pottery and collectibles. The show will be held at The Glen Ridge Congregational Church Friday and Saturday, February 2-3

 

Family Chess Night – Come play chess with a worthy opponent at Family Chess Night. Boards and equipment will be provided. L3 Academy Montclair., Saturday February 3 5:30pm – 6:45pm. Registration is required.

 

Black Moon Night HikeFor the first time in almost 20 years, the month of February will not have a full moon. Learn more about why this happens while hiking the arboretum grounds. After the hike, warm up with a cup of hot cocoa in the Stone House and learn about the mammals that call New Jersey home. A Winter’s Day On The FarmOn Sunday, February 4, from 12 noon to 4:00pm, join an exciting, outdoor, family adventure to experience traditional farm life as it was in the early 20th century at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township.

Maple Sugaring FestLearn how early settlers tapped maple trees and turned the sap into delicious maple syrup. Sunday February 25 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the Reeves Reed Arboretum in Summit

 

Book Art: A Novel IdeaA versatile form of modern art, book art is a medium that can be as subtle as adding a drawing or text to a page, or as complex as creating an intricate book sculpture. This exhibition will be at the Morris Museum until March 4.
